We had a good crowd for lunch yesterday. Even Dr J and JJ showed up. Lots of discussion and maybe some of us even learned something. That's not likely, but one can hope. The Pilot is working on a golf simulator trip. T Squared said it could be like a real trip if we all went out for dinner and stayed overnight at the Hampton Inn. Personally I'd rather go some where warm, but to each is own. Somebody else suggested we play a scramble. TTS said he wasn't quite ready to play a full round yet, but I told him he could just chip and putt if he wanted. I didn't think his one fingered salute was a necessary response.
More golf laws:
- If you want to hit a 7 iron as far as Tiger Woods, simply try to use it to lay up just short of a water hazard.
- You can hit a 2 acre fairway 10% of the time, and 2 inch branch 90% of the time.
- Every time a golfer makes a birdie , he must subsequently make a double or triple bogey to restore the fundamental equilibrium of the universe. (the same is true if you lose 5 lbs, someone else must gain 5 lbs.)
