Another Week of Goofy Weather
Well so far we got one full day in without being blown off the course or drowned. Thought the format on Wednesday was lot of fun (since I was on the winning team). Thursday threatened rain and the wind was howling at about 15 to 20 mph. Plus the humidity was high and that made playing a little uncomfortable. Three of only played nine and the other two made it around in about two and half hours.
The image (above) is the trophy for the JR/SR Championship. Plans are to have it sit on a base that will have the winners names (low gross and net scores) for each year. I am looking for a suitable base. If you have any ideas pass them along (especially you wood workers). Also, I think we will have locker plates. Just for your info the top comes off so the winners could leave a memento of their feat for future participants to see and marvel at ( no ashes please). Keep watching for future details on what is expected to be the highlight of the 2009 JR/SR competitive year.
