Some Things Never Change

With the return of the Prodigal Golfer (aka Dr. AH) we resumed our Saturday morning game. It was like nothing had changed. Our worthy opponents tried to Frick and Frack us, but had limited success. If it wasn't for a two hole lapse we would have taken quite a few shekels from them. As it turned out we broke dead even. Hard to believe since there were about 4 presses and the standard Nassau involved. But the weather was good and the course was reasonably dry for a change, and great fun was had by all.

Yesterday was even nicer so the Nurse and I played nine holes plus the loop with friends. It was the right amount of golf before the wind really picked up and the temps started to drop. It seems like this has been an unusual fall with all the rain. We are due to have some good weather. I hope it stays warm enough for a while that doing the yard work won't done under miserable conditions. I've put off some things and don't want to do them in snow flurries. I was trimming some bushes by our garage yesterday morning and found a Pro V-1 in the bed. Not the first time this has happened, but imagine the shot someone has to hit to get across Ford Rd and through all my shrubs to reach my house.

It looks like they are working on the drainage project on #2 green today. I don't know how long this will take but there is a big crew on it. I think everyone knows the new fountain is in on #18, and looks pretty good.

See ya at the training table.
