That's the only way to say it. I don't know whether starting on the backside was the reason, but all six of us couldn't "hit a cow in the arse with a shovel". At least there was some improvement on the front side but not enough to salvage the round. Thank goodness I ahd three pars or my total would have been in triple digits. As it was the computer laughed when I posted my score. Any way my group lost to the other team. But as they say "tomoorow is another day".
TTS is taking longer to recover than expected. He went back in the hospital to fix a leaking artery. That was Tuesday and he is supposed to come home today. I guess the super glue didn't hold. The LR Dr. can probably give you a better explanation. I'm sure St. Gwen really will be one after this bout. But, he should be on the mend and feeling better soon.
Off to Vegas for a few days. Checked the weather and is going to be in the 90's and mid 80's. OK with me since I'm not really ready for cold weather yet. Don't worry I'm not taking the SOTD money with me. Speaking of money. Eric still hasn't found a suitable bench yet. He's been pretty busy with course issues, but promised to get back to it soon. The new fountain was in and running yesterday. Check it out next time you play. Also, almost all the greens have been punched/sanded. The healing process is pretty quick and we should be back to normal in 10 days.
