That was the course on Tuesday (relatively speaking). But after the shower on Tuesday evening the Nurse said it was pretty wet for the ladies on Wednesday. But, according to the weather report we should be in for a dry period for the next few days. Let's hope we get the fireworks in without any major rain. Most of us can remember a few years ago when we got washed out the evening of the event. What a mess that was.
Kennel Club managed to herd his group around the course on Tuesday in fine form. They ran away from the field and hid. TZ said he had is best round of the year to make a big contribution to their winning score. His Old Pal partner was heard muttering something about why he didn't do that when it really counted. I guess they didn't fair well in their march.
My apology to John W. (aka John S.) on my mistake when crediting him with the SOTD win. I got totally confused because he has one of those "Ski" names. Any way the John S moniker may stick since we always try to disguise and protect the innocent. No one came close to winning so the pot grew by $10.
Finally it was good to see the SD return to the links. He was asked how he played and responded he ran out of gas on the back nine. The person asking the question (who shall remain nameless) responded that maybe he should play the back nine first and avoid running out of gas. Honestly, you can't make this stuff up. If I didn't know better I'd think we were on the set of "Caddy Shack".
See ya,
CC
