That's the 4th of July in a nutshell. What a great weekend! We deserved some great weather for a change. The fireworks at the club went off without a hitch. I hear the family picnic was a huge success with good time being had by all. We couldn't attend due to the family arriving late on Thursday, but we did take advantage of the pyrotechnics from Dave B's patio, and had great seats. The rest of the weekend was packed with a lot of activity packed into a short period of time. One of things everyone enjoyed was the trip to the Museum of The Great Lakes. It is really well done, and another plus for Toledo.
Golf on Thursday was well attended. A couple of new members showed up and joined the fun. One notable was Big PP who played hooky from practicing law and borrowed $5 from his secretary to get in the game. His handicap is really handy, and he played his best game ever. Unfortunately his partners weren't as helpful, but he did get some of her money back.
The weather looks good for the upcoming week. Remember on Thursday we are going to be joined by our female college golfers. Since they would in all likely hood beat us like a "cheap drum" we are going to pair them up with the JR/SRS so everyone has at least one A player. Should be fun.
See ya at the training table.
