Tuesday saw a new winner show up. One of our new JR/SRS Ed O. (aka Edo) has the distinction of being a double winner. The first win was in the game of the day where he got paired up with Twinkle Toes and TZ (a mistake that won't be made again). The second was in the SOTD for $91.00. We had to explain the game and then he proceeded to roll 5 fives in two rolls. I hope this isn't the beginning of some kind of new trend. I don't mind being hospitable but that was over the top.
I wasn't in town for the heavy rains on Wednesday, but I did experience some nasty storms in the Dayton area. The Nurse and I had gone to Germantown for a school function and t-ball game for Miss Emma. The game got called early due to lightning and then the fun started. A serious storm came in from the West. We made a hasty departure and literally were minutes ahead of high winds and baseball sized hail. I estimated we got on I 75 north about 3 minutes before it reached the entrance ramp. Fortunately we missed all the bad stuff but had a few anxious phone calls trying to make sure everyone was OK. All the way back we could see there had been some very heavy rain as evidenced by a lot of standing water that wasn't there on the way down. It was pretty obvious there wasn't going to be any golf on Thursday. I'm beginning to wonder about Saturday.
Gotta go buy more Gortex and get my hair cut. See ya.
