Well maybe if Saturday is any indication. The day was pretty good for hitting the links. There was the rogue shower, but we were off the course and having lunch when it hit. Fred S was the big winner in the COD game since he figured out how to use the hot partner each time we changed. Yours truly broke even for the day in spite of myself. There was a lot of rust flaking off and the occasional shade of brilliance. Most of my day was typified by the bladed wedge on #3 from 70 yards. Fortunately it hit the lip of the bunker and stopped 10 feet from the pin (it should have been on Ford Rd.) Of course the par putt lipped out.
Sunday we headed to G-town for Mother's Day and the Rabbit Wrangler's 10Th birthday. We got him the new EA Sports Tiger Woods Golf for the Wii (the Nurse wanted to play Augusta National). Have to say it was pretty realistic for a game. We also got to meet Prince Charming (name courtesy of Miss Emma) the latest addition to the rabbit herd. PC (to his friends) is a miniature something that is a show pet. When mature he will have a coat that resembles a lion. Personally I thought he looked like a mutant guinea pig but what do I know. One thing I do know is he won't be a candidate for the stew pot like the rest of the herd.
St. Gwen and TTS had a milestone this weekend. They celebrated their 50Th wedding anniversary. Congrats to them.
This week looks good for golf. See ya at the training table.
PS - This is my third time writing this post. Still having problems with the blog website.
