Finally

Finally on Saturday we got the weather we have been looking for since last Autumn. The golf wasn't bad until Dave Bishop and I collapsed on 18 and gave away our hard won earnings to underachievers. Never trust a 22 handicapper to do what they are supposed to d0.

If you will recall the news from last week there was an episode that involved Dean and a rooster
that resides on Simmons Rd. Well this week at the same location Dean duplicated his prior week feat. The only difference the rooster watched but didn't comment. After much discussion and analysis we believe the weight of Dean's Rolex is probably the cause of many of his swing problems. The exteme weight on left wrist has to throw off his setup and balance - thus causing him to block his drives onto Simmons Rd. We are not sure but we think the rooster is planning on going into the used ball business.

It was great have good weather and see the course so active. Bill Pollert says April rounds are well ahead of budget. We all know this won't last but let's keep our fingers crossed. The next few days have rain in the forecast but hope it isn't the heavy stuff we tend to get.

College golf note - I see the NCAA Championship is going to be held at Inverness this year ( end of May). Could be a good chance to see some of the future stars of the pro tour.
