Not Much To Report

We've had a lot of bonus days to date. The weather always appears to be better than it really is. If we could get the wind to shift and come from the Southwest it would really be much nicer to play. As it is when it comes out the North and East it brings a chill that makes you want to stay in the grill and play gin. However, a few brave (or crazy) souls continue to hone their games in anticipation of better days to come. But, it not much fun hitting driver (from the white tees) on 8 and coming up short.

The membership drive is starting to show results. There are a lot of new faces around the club, and some have been playing with us. There is one constant in this world - Bandits are found everywhere.

I see Ron Mickel has resumed his role as Social Director. The 1st prime rib dinner is planned for Wednesday, May 13th. Hope everyone plans to attend. Also, the snowbirds are starting the Spring migration. Bob Brossia came back with the same old bogus handicap, and rumor has it Gilwee is back. I also heard Laurie is making Bill S pack up early and come back on the 10th. Based on the Weather Channel the weather here isn't much colder than Florida right now. Everyone watch yor wallets.

The "Shake of the Day" had a couple of close calls but continues to grow. The pot is approaching $200.
