The Long and Short of It

The long of it was the course yesterday. The short of it was most of our shots. It is amazing what 2 to 3 inches of rain does to the length of BCC. Congrats to Tommy Two Sweaters for winning most of the skins on his birthday (even though he walked off without his money). It is funny what playing the blue-white combo, winter rules, and lift, clean and cheat does for his game.

Now the big news. Hi Ho Silver Mickel rolled five 5's and won $105!!!! Well there goes part of my gas money for Hilton Head. At least we all got a drink to celebrate. This has been a good week for the Mickel twosome - Jill was 2nd in the Master's pool for $200. Oh well, the rich get richer and the rest of us struggle on.

Ed Schultz found his way home and managed to come up with $5 on Thursday. Still has the same bogus handicap which he used to his advantage.
