Problems

The previous post was done well before Sunday.  Due to problems unknown to me until Saturday it wasn't published when I pressed the button.  It took me a while to figure the problem out and make correction.  I'm not sure I really figured it out, but it was more like I punched enough keys and finally hit on the right solution.

Anyway on to other things.  The road trip to Chippewa was successful from all accounts.  I heard JJ had his problems though.  Saturday saw another edition of the running match with the SD and GWH.  I'm not sure what inspired the GWH, but he played well beyond his demonstrated skill level.  The old adage about blind pigs was in evidence.  Dr. AH and I played pretty well but just couldn't overcome the alignment of the stars that were against us and lost what we had won the previous week.  The anniversary fund is looking a little weak.  All I can say is it is a long summer.

Good sized crowds this weekend at the social hours.  There is no better place to have dinner then the balcony on a summer's eve.  i saw we had another wedding on Saturday.  we ran into the wedding party on Saturday and I just had to ask what the canopy and four chairs were for.  Answer-the four piece string quartet.  What will they think of next?
