Another Frigid Saturday
Masters Saturday was another ice box on the BCC links. Lots of sun but that cold NE wind. Scores were only slightly better than Thursday but the round was a lot more entertaining thanks to Dean. We may have a new term (at the minimum a new excuse). While on 3 tee the rooster crowed in Dean's back swing causing him to hit a partial Schwier. Now we all know that rooster crows constantly on Saturday morning and one should expect the distraction and learn to block it out. Dean however tried to convince us he should be given a do-over. As you might imagine there was a lot of sympathy from the rest of the group. However, we now have to consider whether cockadoodledoo is a valid term. If so, then we will have the Stroh Series to go along with the Silver Series. I am sure there will be ample discussion before we vote.
Weather for Tax Week looks mixed, but better towards Thursday. Hopefully some of will have $5.00 left after Wednesday. No serious contenders for the "Shake of the Day". The pot is now over $200.00 and waiting for a winner. We're overdue, so here's make sure you don't miss you next chance to contribute.
I need to add some new pictures to the blog. If anyone has one they want to share email it to me and I'll try to post it. Try to keep it golf related. This is a family blog.
One final note. You know you're getting older when you have on two sweaters, a turtle neck, and a wind shirt and the the juniors are wearing shorts on Saturday and aren't cold.

Glad to know that you are finally admitting to getting older. SMB
