That's what someone said our "Texas League Foursome" (actually 7 guys) looked like coming down the 10Th fairway. Normally that would be frowned on but we got clearance from the pro shop since there were very few players on what turned out to be a glorious day. We actually played in 4 1/2 hours. There were surprisingly a lot of skins, but the total was inflated by birdies and greenies. That translates into some pretty good play from a group of "chops". Putting woes must be like a virus. And, I caught it from Twinkle Toes or the total would have been much higher. All in all it was great fun even though TTS thought he was the target of most of the "mouth wedging".
Friday was steak night and a big crowd showed up for dinner. Greg said there was close to 100 people dining and a table was hard to find. Every one I talked with said the steaks were great. If only every night was like that some of our problems would go away.
The SOTD is now at $118. We dodged a bullet from Dr. J who has won more than anyone else (and several other close calls). I can feel there is a new winner in the near future. Maybe we should start rolling at happy hour. Let me know what you think.
Weather permitting we'll play Tuesday. Can't be many days left.
