Well after a tough week the Nurse and I took off for Vegas for some needed R&R. Actually the trip had been planned for some time, but we still needed the R&R. Since you can't really go by yourself to Sin City we went with The Jeweler, That Tina Girl, The Barrister and Mrs Shoes. We had a great time relaxing, playing a little golf, dinning, shopping, seeing a show and doing a little gambling. We left Vegas yesterday when it was 80 and arrived in Detroit to low 30's. That was a bit of a shock. If you get the chance to see Ka ( one of the circus shows) do it for no other reason than the stage is out of this world. Plus the show is good too. One of the dinning highlights was the great Chinese meal at the home of Vegas friends of the Jeweler. Everything was authentic and really good. Maybe the best part of the trip was I didn't leave very much treasure at the casinos. No, the best part of the trip was spending time with good friends.
Looking forward to a little late fall golf and seeing you all at lunch.
