Veterans Day and Old Glory

Since it was Veterans Day we played Old Glory (red, white and blue tees). Just a simple field skin game with a super six some. Even with six we kept up with the group ahead and ahead of the group behind. TTS was still hitting the cover off the ball and didn't blade to many wedges and was the big winner. Kudos to Jim E. for his eagle on #12. Twinkle Toes continues to struggle with his putter and would have made a lot of money if could have gotten the first putt close. Fred S didn't shoot his age today but still knocked the ball past TTS on most holes. Then there is Gilhooley---what more can I say. He really misses his warm up time on the "rock pile" or at least that's his excuse.

Several close calls in TSOTD, but the pot is still growing and sis $113.00

Weather is supposed to be good on Friday, so we get a bonus day. See ya.

PS - It is amazing that six experienced golfers can't play the par 3's any better from the reds than they do from the blues. Go figure.
