Another Loss

I learned of another loss to the JR/SR family earlier this week.  By now most of you have probably seen the story in The Toledo Blade about Ed Schultz and his passing.  He had been diagnosed with terminal cancer late last year.  TTS, Jim E, and I had lunch with Ed around the first of the year.  He told us he was trying to live a normal life while undergoing treatment and hoped for the best.  He was preparing to leave for Florida for a few weeks and told us he would see us on his return.  We know he went, but did not hear from again and did not know of his change in condition until his death was reported in The Toledo Blade.  We can only hope he was able to live his final days they way he wanted.  I know I speak for us all when I pass on our sympathy to his family on their loss. 

I have always been a believer in the "Law of Threes" and hope Ed's passing completes the current cycle.  I know death is part of life but it is difficult to accept.  Enjoy life, your family and friends since you never know when time will be short.
