Watch For Him

Twinkle Toes was in the spot light at yesterday's lunch.  We may have budding film star in our group.  We all know he had a leading man part in a film that was shot locally (so he says, but it hasn't been released yet).  Yesterday he announced that he had just been cast in a local TV add for a financial planning firm that none of us have ever heard of (G Ward must have been busy).  He says he was even paid for his acting skills!!?  And, it was really his lucky day.  He was playing one of the slot machines after lunch and hit for $100.00 on a $.25 bet.  He's not sure why he won, but he cashed out and was last seen heading for the mall to shop for more clothes for his acting wardrobe.

Lunch was well attended by many of the regular crew.  We did welcome a new member.  Dennis C., who just converted to a regular member from social.  He purchased one of the condos close to #5 tee last year.  He says he's looking forward to playing a lot of golf this year.  I guess we'll see who the real pigeon is.  Not much other news to report on.  Although Dr. AH was lamenting the fact that he came back from Florida after only two weeks.

PS -  Almost forgot the golf laws:

1. It's surprisingly easy to hole a 50-foot putt when you lie 8.
2. If it isn't broke, try changing your grip.
3. All vows taken on a golf course shall be valid only until sunset.
