Believe

When you grow up in Columbus, especially in the shadow of the "Shoe" you learn to believe in the Buckeyes.  They may not always win, but rest assured they will always be involved in history making events.  Last night was no different.  They again were an underdog and not given much of a chance against the up tempo Ducks.  But you have to give them credit.  They always seem to step up and compete.  I've been around for 4 of their championships and maybe enjoyed this one the most.  It certainly is one of the great stories in college football.  They may not repeat in the next several years but you had to love this one.

Winter hit with a vengeance yesterday.  And the snow plow took up where it left off last year;  took off my mail box on the second pass down Ford Rd.  To add insult injury I got stuck in the driveway when I stopped to pick up  the pieces.  There was just enough slope and icy conditions to make it very difficult to move from a dead stop.  After a lot of work and a few #@$%& I got the car in the garage and managed to get the snow blower started and cleared the driveway for the Nurse's arrival later.  Let me just say I'm not a big fan of winter.

Glhooley was scheduled to head west yesterday.  I hope everything went well for him and they made it safely to their first stop in Terre Haute.  I'm sure it wasn't a great day to be on the road.

Hard to believe it is almost the middle of January.  It'll be time to tee it up before we know it.

See ya Thursday,

CC
