We had our second winter meetiing at the casino yesterday. A large crowd showed up again. Because we are now considered regulars on Thursday the staff is now expecting us. Even the Sports Bar chef comes out and checks to make sure everything was OK. I guess it must be since we keep coming back. And I'm sure they make a few bucks on us from the slots.
I found out what it costs to replace a water pump in a Lexus. Let's just say it ain't cheap, but the dealership made the repairs in one day. Problems like this always to happen at the wrong time. I can honestly say I have gotten my value out of the AAA membership this year. Between dead batteries, flat tires, electrical problems on the Benz I'm starting to be on a first name basis with the tow truck drivers. Oh well life could be a lot worse.
