Finally

Saturday was another one of those sunny but cooler days.  Initially it didn't look like golf was in the plan for the day.  But after care full consideration of the weather and a look at the alternatives (working on my tax return or the yard)  LTG and I decided to delay our start in hopes of a warming spell.  Well it didn't really warm up but we decided it was tolerable and played anyway.  The course was a little soggy to say the least and it played fairly long.  At the turn we picked up two more stragglers - Slap Shot and the LR Doctor.  They were of the same mind as us and wanted to get in a few holes before the afternoon nap.

When we finished we noted there a lot more people on the course.  Mainly new members with pent up demand.  Since it was still too early for a nap we decided to have an adult beverage and a little lunch.  We found OTR, JJ and the El Presidente sitting at the round table passing quarters around.  My guess they were paying off bets.  I guess they had heavier sweaters than we did.  Anyway we had three more players to roll the bones.  Six more dollars were added to the pot (remember the LR Doc. is "one and done" for the year).

Loved the Wisconsin vs. Kentucky basketball game.  For some reason I have never cared for Kentucky and wasn't the least bit sorry they lost.  I will admit that if they won out the record would probably stand for all time.
