Closing In

Yes we are closing in on the end of the JR/SR golf season (for recording purposes).  To date we have played 548 rounds (that I have records for).  That is close our all time high, which is just over 600.  I'm not sure we can break 600 by 10/31 but we have a shot.  The weather looks good and we are getting good turnouts daily. 

Yesterday we had a good crowd and tight scores.  Twinkle Toes, TZ and I lost in a score card playoff to Bob D. and his crew.  It took four holes, and that shows how tight the scores really were.  We had to take their scores on faith since their score card some how disappeared (go figure).  No winners in the SOTD.  The pot is some where around $50.00.  I guess I should count the money for an actual total.  But, every time I do someone wins.  Enough said.

PS - Congrats to our resident Appalachian American (OTR for short).  He's off to Pittsburgh to receive some big award from Fed Ex.  They said he's some kind of super business leader.  Well deserved from my perspective.
