When The Cat Is Away.....

While I was off playing at TCC we had another SOTD winner.  JJ claimed he did it in two rolls and laid claim to $25.00.  I wasn't totally convinced about the validity of his win since I couldn't find anyone willing to verify his claim.  Finally one poor soul stepped forward and said he was present.  I was still sketical, but paid off anyway.  JJ is no longer on double secret probation.  He's just on plain probation.  For those who follow such things consider the following:
  1. A total of $4210.00 has been won with the SOTD.
  2. The average win is $81.00.
  3. There have been 52 winner.
  4. Six winners have won over $300.00 each.
I'm sure the LR Dr. thinks that's a load of useless information.  A complete summary is on the bulletin board.

Thursday was a great day to play golf, and ten took advantage of the day.  Scores weren't exceptional, for the most part we had fun.  Putting was a challenge for most as we struggled with the green speed.

Did you see the President's Cup yesterday?  There was one of the most bizarre rulings I've ever heard of.  One that I'm sure will be talked about for some time.  if you missed it ask the guys in the pro shop to explain it.  Remember the USGA and PGA rules aren't always the same.
