Not A Sniff

Tuesday was a grand day for golf and scoring.  Being the captain for the day I decreed that we would play 3BB of 4.  A tough format, but we are all good players and up to the challenge.  My team posted the pretty score of -21 (LTG shot 71) and we didn't even get a sniff at first.  Bob D's team posted -29 (hard to believe).  LOA played extremely well and Gilhooley brought Uncle Bob as a guest.  I'm guessing they ham and egged it and didn't all blow up together.

Yesterday I played at TCC as part of the TDGA's team in the Toledo Golf Hall of Fame fund raiser for The Evans Scholar Foundation.  We game really close to winning, but got beat by tenths of a point due to the handicaps.  I'm not sure what is going on with the greens at TCC, but they were not in good shape.  There was a definite lack of grass on many.  Someone said they were going to re-grass them, but that's a pretty expensive proposition.  All I know is that ours (keep your fingers crossed)  are really in great shape.  We should give Eric and his staff a "big pat on the back" for the well conditioned course we've had this year.

Great weather for today.  It could be the last day for shorts.  Hope to see you at the training table.

PS - Rounds played thru 10/6/2015 - 511.  With some luck we could reach 600 by the end of October.
