As most of you remember (if no senior moments) Saturday was cold, windy and rain. The GWH was holding his annual Big Hole Tournament at BCC East and had invited Dr. AH, LTG and myself to join him. We were playing quite well through 11 holes when we realized that Dr. AH was turning blue and in desperate need of some warmth and dry gloves. So we made a strategic decision and went to the bar for some cold weather adult beverages. LTG told us that Captain Morgan was pretty good in hot chocolate. Frankly anything at that point would have been good in anything hot. We soon learned that we were actually leading the front side and tied for second overall after only playing 11 holes. But, the powers that be DQ'd us for not finishing. So much for being the boss and owner. Although I heard the GWH say there was going to be a lot of splaning on Monday for that decision. Anyway we had a great prime rib lunch and headed home. I don't know about my partners but I walked in the house and put all my wet clothes in the dryer and took a hot shower.
Yesterday I took advantage of the weather and did some of the prep work around the yard before bad weather sets in. Besides I don't want to miss golf the rest of the week.
See ya at the training table.
