And Then The Rain Came

The Member/Member Saturday was going along smoothly for most until the skies decided to open up and disrupt things for a few holes. Wasn't heavy enough to stop play but be a distraction and force the rain gear to come out. One real casualty was the implosion of Ron and Dean on 14. Both made 9, and let me tell you it wasn't easy to watch. But, over all I think it was a pretty successful event.

The weather looks like it may finally turn for the better after last night's frost. Hope every one's flowers made it. Supposed to be 80's by the middle of the week. Speaking of weather, heard Tom Z was under it. Must have really been sick if a tough guy like him couldn't make the prime rib dinner or play over the weekend. Sarge and Bill S are back in town and looking to take advantage of our good nature. Sarge said he is working on funding his plane tickets and Bill is saving up for gas for the Fall trip back to Florida. Let's make sure we don't put them together.
