A Prime Time
Many thanks to Ron for another successful prime rib dinner last night. We had a great turnout and I think everyone had a good time. It was nice to see new members attending. If my memory is correct (highly suspect) this is the third year we have been doing these events. They seem to get better with time (Ron is good at learning as he goes along). Also thanks to Greg and the staff for doing a another great job.
Now back to the real purpose of this blog. Golf! Can't comment on Tuesday since I was AWOL. But, Wednesday I was there and did play nine holes before the rain finally stayed around for a while. We actually had 5 show up for lunch and the range, but two thought they might melt if they got wet. Really, Ed and John it was only a few sprinkles on the 1st tee. Bob B is really starting to find his groove (I'm not above being bribed if you want him as a partner), and expect a real break out round soon. Even Tom Z is pretty impressive at times. But the real winner is the rough. Whoa with the fertilizer. I know this is an annual problem but, this year it really seems tough.
The weather forecast is not great for the next few days. If we can't play let's still have luch and roll the dice. We had an audit yesterday and we have $124.00 at the present.
