One For The Record Books

That's right, February was one for the record books. According to the weather news we had over 26 inches of snow. Now I suppose March will have record floods. It seems to have already started in Findlay with the Blanchard River rising very quickly. Also heard this morning I-75 was closed at mile marker 164 with water over the highway. ODOT engineers must not be able to read flood charts. And how about the thunder and lightning last night. It seemed more like April/May rather than the end of February.

Did you see the weather at the match play tourney in Arizona? Have been there and done that a number of years ago. Let me tell you it is really weird to experience weather like that on the golf course when you know at lower elevation it is probably 30 degrees warmer. It's almost the same when you are in Hawaii and know they're skiing on the Big Island when you are sitting by the pool with a cold rum drink. Personally I'm a little old for the skiing and enjoy the rum drink more.

Today is the day I plan on starting our tax return. Hopefully all the paper has arrived and no corrected 1099's are in the mail. Every year it seems like we get a correction after everything has been put together.

Well I'm off to sharpen the pencils. Write at you later.

PS - Check this out - www.artofflight.com/ . This is really cool and something for the JR/SRS to consider next winter. TTS said he wants to sign up for the Alaskan trip.

PPS - Dr. J the local rules seminar is April 25 at HDCC at 7PM.
