That's what Steve H (aka The Pilot) was doing after he hit for half of the SOTD pot at our opening lunch at the training table. We all know we were long overdue for a winner, but he was the third person to roll. And, then to win with five ones is a little over the top. I'm sure Dr. J is kicking himself for not being there to witness the festivities.
We had a reasonable group considering the weather didn't cooperate for golf. The long range forecast is not promising. Temperatures about 10 degrees below normal and snow flurries. I understand a town in Ohio has actually filed fraud charges against a certain ground hog for falsely forecasting an early Spring. I started to accept bids for a cart partner to share my new cart heater, But the LR Dr. one upped me by declaring he had a heater and a cover.
Talked with St. Gwen this AM. TTS had his head stitched up again by a plastic surgeon. They hope this will now allow the healing process to take hold in earnest. Her is still having trouble sleeping because of the collar bone, but is doing OK otherwise.
I also talked with Jim E this week. He is scheduled to have his knee replaced this coming Thursday. And, the SD has been laid low by the flu for a couple of days. I just realized this is starting to sound like the shut-in report you get at church on Sunday morning.
