We are getting close to our last lunch at the Hollywood Casino. Next week will be the last Thursday since the club is due to reopen on March 15. It will be fun to get back to our regular table and routine. I know Dr. J has been eagerly awaiting the resumption of the SOTD. What he forgets is that he is still on triple secret probation. Anyway we had a small group yesterday, but lively conversation. Fortunately no had any more incidents with their cars since last weekend. Besides TTS the SD played demolition derby with a deer and did a fair amount of damage to the front end of his BMW. We told him it was just a car, but he still gets tears in his eyes when reminded of the damage.
Nothing new to report on TTS. I haven't talked to him in the last 24 hours. I assume no news is good news. We'll probably be short another member to begin the season. Jim E told me he was scheduling knee replacement surgery for the end of March. Said he put it off as long as he could, but wanted to make sure he got it done before Obamacare stopped it for old guys like him.
Next time you see JJ ask him to tell you his Pope story about dealings with Kentucky Fried Chicken. It is too long to post, but it is pretty good.
It is supposed to be 50 on Saturday. JJ and Twinkle Toes are planning on nine holes at 11 AM for those interested.
