I was able to talk to TTS's daughter Sunday afternoon and learned that he his condition had improved dramatically from the prior day. He was awake and talking and didn't appear to have any major injuries, but was really bagged up. He was complaining about his shoulder, but considering what happened that could be relatively minor. Everyone was really encouraged.
This AM my wife (aka The Nurse) talked with St. Gwen who told her that TTS was sitting up and had just called her at home. That really sounds encouraging. The next thing you know he'll be telling the staff of how he was on a hospital board (ask me and I'll tell you that story). I don't know much else, but was really happy to hear the progress to date. It sounds like he really dodged a bullet this time. No pun intended since this all happened on his way to go shooting in Monroe, MI.

PS - We all know that one of the JRSR food staples is the fried bologna sandwich. On Saturday the Food Channel was doing a piece on chef's favorite foods from their childhood. One women, now in LA, says she always go to Andre's on Summit St. when in town to visit her family. Her father took her there for their fried bologna sandwich as a kid. They showed the restaurant, it's current owner, and the sandwhich. It made you want to jump in the car and go get one for lunch.
