I'm not sure what really happened last week. I put others in charge since I was off working on the TDGA Rating Committee. Everything seemed to go off without too much controversy, but the LR Dr. eased up on the format. As far as the rating was concerned we did Inverness Club. It was their request since they re grassed the greens and worked on some of the bunkers. I haven't seen the final results but am certain the slope will go up. They also took out more trees, and let the rough grow. Also green speed was faster. I can't believe the members want to play on greens that fast every day. You literally couldn't putt ours at the speed they had theirs the other day. But IC's are a lot flatter, with less break.
Couldn't believe how wet the course was on Saturday. We must have gotten more rain than I thought Friday night. Hope it is dried out by now.
