OTR, The Lr Dr., and David B done us proud in the Dandy Dozen. OTR got the farthest, but exited when the gods conspired against him with a train whistle, a storm front and his caddie pulling the wrong club on No. 7. But a great effort by all. The shootout was a great way to end the holiday weekend and the big crowd following the field proved it.
Now back to normal day to day life. I've seen a lot of range work as players are preparing for the JRSR Championship being held on September 11. This tournament has become quite a tradition and the highlight of our year. Another big field is anticipated, and a new gross champion is assured. The Lr Dr. is going to be on the west coast seeing his new twin grand babies. In the interim we still have a few warm up days before the big day.
