No the Sunday's couples event wasn't easy. For those who thought the par 3 course wouldn't be a challenge the people who played would beg to differ. The winning score was minus three in a 2BB format. Most of the field found it to be a big challenge to get on the green from the tee and then throw in the green speed and there were a lot of bogeys recorded. In my teams case a lot of bogeys were on the card. It;s a good thing they are giving the greens a couple of days to heal since I left a lot of scorch marks around the holes. Anyway the consensus we should do this again next year. Kudos to the chef for a great family style meal of fried chicken. Between that and the cold King Crab beforehand no one went home hungry.
We'll have to be a little flexible this week because of grounds maintenance, but we'll do something fun on Tuesday. Wednesday we should be back to normal play.
