The Nurse reminded me the Mars vs Venus Event is around the corner. Like right around the corner and we need a Mars team. Check the sign up sheet in the pro shop. Remember we have a tradition of never losing and I would hate to lose by forfeit.
I was right about the coming monsoon. The rain Friday night soaked the course, and it was really wet on Saturday. While it slowed down Dr. AH and myself at the beginning of the round it didn't keep us from prevailing. I will admit it is almost impossible to overcome the backside press (aka the Inverness) when you start out -1 1/2 (that's how bad they were on the front). It would have been worse in my putt on 9 wasn't a little aggressive and popped out of the hole. We still finished the day by winning a couple bets and tried not to gloat.
What a great finish to the PGA yesterday. I was happy with the outcome and all the records that were set. I would have been happy with Jason or Jordon winning, but really enjoyed the overall play. It was hard to imagine all the scores that far under par at the beginning of the tournament.
