As you know yesterday was the annual Mars vs.Venus tournament. After many years (Mars quit counting after 6 straight wins) the Venus Team finally won. I don't want to sound like sour grapes, but there was some really funny accounting going on. There was an unusual adjustment made by the pro shop due to the difference in women's vs men's par. Somehow that magically seemed to be the winning difference. Now I will admit the Venus Team had a couple of exceptional scores which was a real plus. But, our Pig Trophy is sitting in the ladies locker room for at least 12 months before we can take it back and put it in it's rightful place.
The weather looks great for this week. Moderate temps, sunny skies and no rain in the forecast. Just the right formula for honing your game before our big day. Make sure you sign up so we can get a good read for the post tournament dinner.
