Really!!!

Dr. J returned from his month long vacation with the rich and famous in Harbor Springs to play with the less fortunate.  While his game hadn't improved his canny ability rolling the bones was as good as ever.  On his first attempt on returning he rolled the mandatory five of a kind (in two rolls) to win $20.00.  Granted it isn't a large amount of money it's the principle of it.  He has been our most prolific winner, and I think also has won the most money.  We put him on double secret probation to no avail;  then on the TSA no roll list;  finally on the special witness verification required list.  All to no avail.  I'm open to suggestions on what to do next.  At present there is at least $40.00 awaiting his next assault.

The competition was keen on Tuesday.  Two man teams playing 1BB.  Scores were close ranging from -10 to -3.  We paid 4 places so only six would be unhappy.  I couldn't stay to see all the moaning and crying by the losers, but heard it was long and loud.  Twinkle Toes finished so early that had time to go home to change clothes before the next group finished (just a quirk of the day).

The latest Rounds Played sheet is up on the bulletin board.  So far there are 16 qualified for the JR/SR Championship, and 6 more are on the cusp.  And, anyone gets their panties in a wad this may not be totally accurate since I may not have all the daily sheets.  As long as you make a good faith effort (and slip me something under the table) I'm pretty sure you'll make it in.   Plus if you're not close you are still welcome to play and compete in the skins game.  Remember we will add $5.00 to the entry fee, again this year, to cover photography cost.  So make sure you have $25.00 cash money on Thursday September 10th (money to paid to the pro shop).  See me if you have any questions.
