Over the years of playing with the JRSRs I've learned there is one constant. You can count on TZ to make a four or a five on no. 9 at least 90% of the time. And, remember he gets two shots on that hole. You know what that means - your team will probably score well or he gets an automatic skin. The same also hollds true for no. 18. Nothing has changed this year. He's off to a roaring start.
We had a good sized group yesterday. There's a lot of pent up demand due to the crappy weather we've had this Spring. I missed Slap Shot's name on the signin sheet and had to make a last minute adjust on the tee (which in retrospect didn't have the desired impact). The overall result was the same old GSP's won and Twinkle Toes added to his treasure chest. Surpringly I didn't get any under the table bids for his services. I think you guys must be asleep at the switch. I'll be there early today if you want to bid in private.
A great crowd last night at the Prime Rib Dinner. It was a great way to kick the season off. The crowd was close to 100. I don't think that is a record, but close. Sadly we bid good bye to Bobby B. He had been with the club for 19 years in a variety of jobs. He was a great and tireless worker and will be missed by all. I know we all wish him well as he starts a new phase in life's journey.
See ya at the training table,
CC
