We finally are seeing weather that feels like Spring. The past two days have been perfect and it looks like the holiday weekend will be more of the same.
Speaking of more of the same. That's what the Couples Shambles had in the way of the winners on Sunday. Congrats to all who won "socks". We had a decent turnout, but need to get our new members more involved. I'm sure that will come in time and a little coaxing.
Last week's golf seems to be ancient history. But we did break the Twinkle Toes' stranglehold on winning. Of course it helped he wasn't there. Some of our better players had an off day and gave the rest of us a chance. The SOTD continues to grow after several close calls. New security measures are being insituted after Dr. AH told us about His old Florida club's money being taken by the custodians. I'll be happy to show anyone interested the depository receipt from the H. C.. I feel much better knowing the money is in a more secure vault.
Hard to believe the Memorial Day holiday is almost here.
