Yesterday was the first day the Nurse and I were able to play golf over the holiday weekend because the family was in town. It's always "lights, camera, action" when they're around and golf just doesn't fir in with everyone wanting to go in six different directions at once. Anyway we played with Mr/Mrs LTG and decided to get in the flag tourney. I made it to #18 green before planting my flag, but the Nurse made it down #1 for two shots (she was the only one ) and won the whole thing. This was after complaining the whole round about how bad she was playing. I wish I could play that poorly and win. I'm still haunted by the doubles and the occassional triple. I'd like to blame it on the rough, but it's probably LOFT.
What a great holiday weekend though. We haven't had weather like that for several years. It seems like it has rained for Memorial Day for the past 10 years. The weather god finally smiled on us. I hate to say it, but we could use a little rain (hopefully at night) to help the flowers we've all planted.
