Gas Money

Gilhooley and LTG were blind draw partners and squeaked out a win in the daily game.  I don't know about LTG but Gilhooley was heard to say the money, such as it was, was a welcome addition to his gas fund.  He's on his way to a retired partner gathering in Florida and said he was concerned about the price of gas.  I guess even the big time tax CPA's are feeling the pinch of a shaky economy.  Or maybe it was just his upbringing from the Northeast.

Thursday shall be known as "Blue Tee Day".  This is in response primarily to OTR, but also to the fact all the tournaments seem to be from that set of tees.  Since most of us aren't reaching the green in two form the whites this shouldn't make much of a difference in our scores.  Wonder what happened to "play it forward"?

Kudos to Greg.  He had chicken pot pie and apple pie on the lunch buffet yesterday.  I only had the apple , but understand the chicken was very tasty.  If you haven't tried the golfer lunch buffet you should.  It is always good.

We should start watching the southern highways.  Snowbird sittings should be very common in the next few weeks.  I know from experience that I95 is always heavy on our return from HHI around the 1st of May.  And I'm sure I75 is the same.  Has anyone noticed the number of serious accidents on I75 is on the increase?  Seems like we get 2 to 3 every week.  Especially with the big rigs.

See ya (weather permitting),
