Pinball Wizard

There is never a dull moment with the JR/SR golfers.  Thanks to T Squared we have a new term.  Let me elaborate.  The scene is close the edge of the right green side bunker on #13.  Think of an awkward stance and having to try to hit the ball between your legs (hard to imagine).  Well this is where T Squared found himself.  LTG and I watched in amazement as he took a mighty swipe hit the ball into his right ankle and watched it  careen into his left ankle and then fall into the trap.  A long discussion ensued over over how many penalty strokes needed to be assessed.  The discussion continued at the post round round table discussion with about 10 different opinions.  After careful consideration Brad ruled only a penalty of 2 shots was to be assessed  (the number of times one hit his self doesn't matter).  Fortunately we didn't need his ball for score, but he did manage to get up and down from the bunker to record a 6.  But we now have a new term - Pin Balled.

We had the largest crew in recent memory:  19 rabid golfers showed up.  It must have the sun and 80 degrees that had them coming out of the wood work.  OT R's crew managed a win in a 2BB completion.  A four hole score card playoff was need for second (my group lost) and then there was a distant 4th place team.  But, I now really understand The Commish when he talks about herding cats.  If I had any left it would have gone grayer after trying to get that group to move in the right direction.  KC said a few more days like that and the club might have to think about a bigger table for our group.  I know the wait staff looked a little frazzled after serving lunch.

The weather forecast continues to look good.  See ya.
