Lightning Strikes

That's what happened to our worthy opponents on Saturday.  The round started as it normally does with TGWH making a par on the 1st hole.  Then our opponents followed that with a win on the second hole.  Dr AH and I were in shock since Uncle Auto showed up early in the round.  But then the lightening struck.  Dr. AH and I proceeded to win the next seven holes to take the front side by a wide margin.  Our opponents were in shell shock  and continued to play poorly the rest of the day.  By the time we were done we had one 8 bets and most of the money back we had lost this season.  Not many days are like Saturday and you have to relish them when they happen.  I'm sure the tide will change and we will be in that position in the future.

The Rabbit Wrangler and Miss Emma were in town for a short holiday visit.  They went to the zoo Sunday morning to see the new polar bear cubs and the new crocodile.  I went to the casino to meet my father and make sure he came to lunch.  We all had a nice visit and then everyone headed in different directions.  Unfortunately no golf, but we were scheduled to play Monday.  True to form for Memorial Day in Northwest Ohio it was cold and rainy.   I think that is 4 out of the past 5 years it has been that way.  We used to go away for the holiday because of that treason.  Anyway after napping the afternoon away we met friends for dinner at the club's cookout.  I will admit we needed the rain, but....

This morning dawned with the rain still here.  I even saw LTG fishing in it.  Right now it seems to have moved on and we should be able to play golf.  Plus the temperature is supposed to start rising and get hot the rest of the week.  I hope that doesn't give Eric problems with the course.  Hot humid days can cause havoc with the turf.

See ya at the training table,

CC

PS - TTS continues to slowly recover.  There is some talk of him coming home this week.  I guess he was even grumpy the other day.  Imagine that!
