You go away for a few days and the next thing you know someone claims they won the SOTD. I'm not sure if the proper number of witnesses were present, but Since Dr. AH informed me of the event I'll assume everything was on the up-and-up. I know he wouldn't be in cahoots with any of you characters. I told the Appraiser to be present on Tuesday if he wanted to be paid off. His share is $95.00.
Also I noted the rough is now growing and very difficult to play from, let alone find your ball. The Nurse and I thought we play a quick nine yesterday and were unaware there was an Owens event going on. To the credit of Jasen and Tim they got us out without a problem. Now if we could get some carts that will make it more than nine holes without breaking down. Ours made it but one tire was going flat. I find it hard to believe lack of document execution on BCC's part held up the production of our new carts. Need I say more! It's not like we didn't know we were going to order them.
The weather looks decent for a change. We should have a full schedule of golf this week. In fact it looks better than we had in Hilton Head. For the most part the weather was OK, but a bit cooler than normal.
WE had one day on the course with strong winds and rain squalls. Tough conditions, but it was a warm rain.
