Everyone must like playing in the morning. We had one of the biggest groups of the year. The weather was absolutely great and I wish my golf was too. I left a lot of singe marks around the cups. It could have a decent round if my putter was working. Needless to say I wasn't in the money.
The SD and I are almost finished with the plans for the JR/SR Championship. Ask for an extra $10.00 next week in your allowance since you'll need it for the entry fee for the prize and skins pools ($10 entry and $5 skins). We'll pay 3 places for low gross and low net and have a field skin pool. Wear your best golf clothes for the group picture to be taken before we play. We'll also take a picture of the low gross and net winners at the trophy presentation before dinner. Just a heads up, only one ball off the 1st tee; putt everything out; and no equitable stroke control when you reach your max. Also USGA rules will govern play along with any local rules as indicated on the score card. We'll also be going off in assigned tee times, with groups aligned by handicap. This should keep things moving along at a nice pace. To date we have a field of 16, and I expect a few more to sign up before the cutoff Sunday night when the club closes.
