Free At Last!

Well, I went to see Dr. Steve for my my first post op visit and was given clearance to resume normal activity, including golf. Having learned a lot of lessons over the past few weeks I decided to work my way back into golf gradually. So I didn't rush to the course but rather went to Five Guys for a burger and fries and then home for a nap. I told the Nurse C that I would ride around with her on Tuesday and just chip and putt. Probably Thursday will be my first day back at full go. Even though they took the stitches out there is still some healing going on at one of the puncture spots and there was a little leakage last night. Nothing serious but just enough to remind me this has gone very quickly and well and I shouldn't push my luck.

How about Appleby shooting 59 Sunday at the Greenbrier?! I don't care what you say about an easy course you have to be doing something right to put up a number like that. By the way, the 18Th hole is where the LR Nurse (aka Mrs. LR Dr.) got her hole in one last year. Too bad they weren't offering a million dollars that day. Now back to Firestone for one of my favorite tournaments and then on to Whistling Straights for the PGA.

Are you getting ready for the JR/SR Championship. If not, you should be! This becoming a very prestigious event and a real feather in the cap if you can win it.

See ya.
