The dog days of summer are here as August is winding down. The Nurse and I played with the Gilhooley's yesterday and I thought we all were going to need a nurse because of the heat. But, we all survived but I can't say the same for our games. We took on the women and got Shanged and Ziemed all afternoon. Chef Kiel did a great job with the grilled food after the round.
Saturday was interesting. the SD headed west and the GWH was off somewhere doing what GWHs do when they aren't hunting. So we had 2 cameos for the Saturday fun. One was TTS and the other was the Chairman. The Chairman made 4 on 18 this time and is now averaging only double par plus for the week. Not sure how the scoring went, but I was still on the paying side of the bet.
Pretty good party Saturday night with over 110 people showing up. The patio was rocking with a good DJ and I didn't know we had so much vocal talent. Hope everyone had fun. I know we did.
BCC came close at SOCC on Friday. Second place and not far behind SOCC's team. One more event left at HMGC. Let's keep it up, and win one for the Commish.
I think we are back to our afternoon schedule starting Tuesday. See ya at the training table.
