Still Holding Up

The knee is still holding up. I wish I could say the same for my game. The SD decided to change things up since the GWH was running his golf course yesterday. He decided that his luck was running out and he thought mine was on the upswing. So he and I partnered against Silk and Dr. AH. Well he was partially right since we "kissed the sister" and broke even. There was some skin money lost and a lot of missed putts from Dr. AH. (we played our match while trying to compete in the SR Club Championship). Not much to show for the championship. I hope the Golf Comm. revisits the idea of combining the championships. Personally I thought keeping them separate was much better and fairer for everyone.

For all you complaining about green speed there is a great article in Saturday's WSJ addressing the issue of hot, humid weather and the impact on greens and golf courses. I'll live with what we we've got versus the alternative. I'm going to post the article on the bulletin board for those of you who don't get the WSJ. Kudos to Eric and staff for the condition of the course.

Based on what I saw on TV the hot, humid weather is returning this week. My guess is that will translate into morning golf. See ya at the coffee bar. Stay cool.
