Yes lightning can strike the same spot more than once. I've heard important events occur in multiples of three. The SOTD fits into that theory. Tuesday Twinkle Toes hit the SOTD for the third winner in one week. While his winnings were small, only $46, by some standards he did win. And yes he kept the fives. So while the pot hasn't been completely depleted it is rather small.
His winning was insult added to injury since his team won the daily game in a scorecard playoff. I even tried to stretch the rules in a feeble attempt to win, but couldn't make it work. That should tell you something about bad we were. Even the score posted by Twinkle Toes, the Appraiser and Bob B wasn't anything to be proud of.
I don't know about today. The weather looks iffy and they are working on the fairways. But I have to show up with some money and prove I didn't invest it at the casino.
