Yesterday was a wash out for golf. I felt bad for the FGG since they were holding their championship. It was supposed to be a 36 hole affair with varying formats. I'm not sure what they decided, but I did overhear that OTR had the most points at the time they quit playing. I think we can blame the day on Jack N.. Every time he has a big event at Murfield (ie President's Cup) we get rain and lousy weather. Any way we tried to wait it out, but ended up going home for a nap before a big afternoon of college football.
LTG called late in the afternoon to say he was going to resume play if I wanted to tag along. I passed since we decided to go to the movie to see Gravity. Go see it if you get the chance. It was really good with great special effects. We were home in time to watch OSU and Northwestern. A darn good football game. It never should have been that close , but you have to give Northwestern credit for a heck of a game plan. The Bucks hung in there when they could have folded. I sure hope they are recruiting linebackers. I also hope they take Roby's press clippings away from him. This is the second week in a row he's been torched.
SOTD is now $265.00. Some close calls, but no winners. We're long overdue. The weather looks good for Tuesday.
